To me Elvis Presley was like the final prophet. He lived his life in these modern times as a Christian without ever even close becoming a radical but somehow he set an example despite all of the drugs which eventually lead to his death. No gospel singer ever came close to matching Elvis gospel. You can listen here Radiotime.com search for Elvis. I am pretty sure you Atheist will come around eventually. This gospel music will hit your heart like a ton of bricks….trust me.

Gospel music isn’t weak or lame. Its not all just choirs and old sounding music. There’s gospel hip-hop/rap, country, jazz, pop and any other genre of music they may have out there only in gospel form. Some gospel songs, in my opinion, doesn’t even have to be heard by a christian listener. Some songs are just a simple positive message.
